Summary

Katherine’s interests include nineteenth-century European art, especially that of late nineteenth-century and early twentieth-century France, as well as modern art in Europe and America. She is particularly interested in issues of modernization, Haussmannization, Japonisme and gender. She began her MA coursework and role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the fall of 2019.
