Bachelor’s degrees with majors in the history of art are offered in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The B.A. and B.G.S. degrees require 30 hours in art history. The main difference between the B.A. degree and the B.G.S. degree is a foreign language requirement; the B.A. requires four semesters of a second language. For more information please contact an undergraduate advisor.

History of art majors are encouraged to attain departmental honors by graduating with an overall GPA of 3.25 and a GPA in the major of 3.5, and by successfully completing an honors essay under the supervision of a member of the History of Art faculty.
