Biography —
Meng Tong specializes in Buddhist grotto art along the eastern Silk Routes of medieval Eurasia. Her dissertation examines a series of cave murals depicting the prophecies of achieving future Buddhahood upon different Buddhist beholders at the esteemed Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, northwestern China.
