Apply to the Ph.D. Program

Ph.D. degrees are offered in European, American, and East Asian art; they offer the opportunity for advanced research and concentration. Graduates typically seek careers in college and university teaching and in museum work.

Ph.D. applicants will be considered for competitive funding packages, recruitment fellowships, and GTA, GRA, and GA positions. No separate application is required for these funding opportunities.

For all Ph.D. requirements see the Ph.D. section of the Art History Graduate Student Handbook.
