Biography —
Jeongwon Yoon researches Japanese and Korean art with special interests in modernism, colonialism, and avant-garde art movements in the 20th to 21st centuries. Her dissertation examines abstract artists’ group activities within the sociocultural and geopolitical contexts of the Empire of Japan and colonial Korea in the first half of the twentieth century.
