Biography —
Katherine’s interests include nineteenth-century European art, especially that of late nineteenth-century and early twentieth-century France, as well as modern art in Europe, America and Japan. She is particularly interested in issues of modernization, Haussmannization, Japonisme, gender and sexuality. Katherine completed her MA in Art History at KU and is beginning her Doctoral coursework in the fall of 2021.
