Ella Conner

Ella is an MA student whose research focuses on women artists in modern and contemporary art. Her primary interests include the social and political nature of American art post-World War II, particularly the gendered dynamics of action painting and Abstract Expressionism. She is also interested in visual sovereignty, materiality, and kinship in contemporary Indigenous art.
