Biography —
Rebecca Manning (she/her) studies sixteenth- and seventeenth-century European art, with a particular focus on the transmission of art and ideas between Rome, Naples, and Spain via artist-patron networks. She is also interested in early modern women artists, the reception of antiquity during the early modern period, collecting histories, and technical art history.
